Apartogether Quilted Tapestry, Water-based Ink on Old sheets, 2020

This quilted tapestry was born out of the community art project proposed by artist Liza Lou, calling all textile artists and crafters to use waste material from around their houses to create a comfort blanket during lockdown. Gathering bedsheets with holes and paint stains and an airplane blanket, I used screen printing techniques and simple stitching patterns to create this quilt.
