Frannie is a Textile artist from California with a Master’s Degree in Textile Design from Chelsea College of Art and Design in London. She previously graduated with a BA in Studio Art from Westmont College with a focus on printmaking. She works with textiles as a design element in the Fashion and Home-wear industry specializing in knit and print design, as well as using it as the medium for her propaganda based fine art. Her work is defined by the movement towards a more sustainable future. She works with both natural materials and waste materials, using various techniques of up-cycling to create textiles and art that are conscious of the environment in the way they are made and the messages they send.
